    The Great Park

On August 8, 2018, Ivan, Ken, Denise, George, Theo and I drove to Westcliff-on-Sea for lunch. We went to the Waters Edge Cafe for fish and chips. Ivan had the grilled fish, while I get traditional fish and chips. George had the fish fingers and chips while Theo had the paella food we brought from home. We walked along the beach. It was a nice sunny day. Ivan, George, Theo and I drove to Harlow to see Neal, Dee, and baby Zak. Zak was sleeping a lot. Harlow We went to Harlow Town Park. George and Theo had ice cream. Our Summer Trip 2018

It’s finally time for our Summer Trip starting with England. We flew off on August 1, 2018. It was an afternoon direct flight. I’m so glad that the boys slept for some of the flight. The 9 1/2 hour flight actually went by pretty fast. I was able to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Ready Player One on the plane. Ivan doesn’t like sci-fi movies, so it was great to watch two in one day. He’s actually never seen any Star Wars movies. WTF? I know, that’s crazy!! George and Theo have been having fun at Ivan’s parents’ house in Southend-on-Sea. They love exploring the new house and…

    George at 17 months old

George is now 17 months old! He’s growing up so fast. I’m not sure how it’s possible, but he’s gotten even more cheekier.  He throws things in the toilet, bathtub and the bin (garbage can). He’s ruined one toy this way. We have to pay attention to where we put our cell phone or he might toss it in the toilet.  George has a silly, evil laugh. I’m sure he gets that from Ivan since he has a similar laugh like he’s plotting something really naughty. He still doesn’t talk very much. He does babble a lot though. He says Ah ha! a lot like he’s just discovered a new…

    George at 16 months old

George is now 16 months old. He walks, well really runs around everywhere. He gets into all the cabinets and throws everything out of them. We finally broke down and put in safety catches for the cabinets. He loves playing hide and seek with Daddy. He likes to put his sippy cup upside down which spills milk or water everywhere. He pours the milk, mostly spilling it everywhere, from his sippy cup to another cup and drinks it. George spilled his milk from his high chair once. I wanted to cry, but I looked at it and it looked like great art. He thinks he’s Jackson Pollock now! He screams…
