Lori’s Salt Caramel Syrup review


Ivan and I love to use healthier sweeteners like maple syrup, honey or agave syrup. Lori’s Salt Caramel Syrup by The French Connection is a healthy sweetner altnerative.

The French Connection specializes in French desserts and confections. Lori loves French cuisine and has studied abroad and even owned a pub. Her career spans four decades. Lori’s Salt Caramel Syrup is handcrafted and bottled in Ashland, Oregon.

The syrup is delicious and very smooth. It comes in a bottle similar to other maple syrup bottles. I think the little handle is so cute.

The sweet syrup tastes like maple, caramel with a hint of vanilla and sea salt. What a lovely combination! You don’t have to use much since it has a thick consistency and a strong flavor.

I thought the syrup would taste great on a waffle.

It sure did!

I used Lori’s Salt Caramel Syrup in my green tea which made it tasty and sweet. I also used it as a topping on yogurt. The syrup is all-natural and fat-free. Nice! The syrup can be used for so many toppings like on pancakes, fruit, ice cream and added to coffee, cereal, and oatmeal.  It can also be used in baking.  I love the taste of Lori’s Salt Caramel Syrup. You should go buy a bottle or two here and sweeten up your breakfast, dessert or tea.

    I’d love to put this on hot biscuits, waffles, pancakes, ice cream and in my tea, coffee and ice coffee! Probably a whole lot more too!
