I’m Back!

So, I’ve definitely been gone way too long. My husband Ivan kept telling me to go back to blogging and I never found the time. We went on a long trip at the end of April. Right before the trip, we found out I was pregnant. We were actually planning on getting pregnant during the trip. Surprise! Life is funny that way. I was worried about going traveling while pregnant, but I realized it was fine since it was my first trimester. I can easily go to a hospital if I have any problems. Thank goodness I didn’t have any problems.

Our fun seven-week trip took us to Europe for a Carnival cruise, Romania, Sweden, Korea and China. George loved traveling. It’s hard to travel with a toddler, but somehow we managed. I’m so glad we did.

I miss traveling. It’s always fun to discover new places and foods.

We also got to spend some time with Ivan’s family and two of our best friends Tim and Gabby and meet their cute son Liam.

I’ve been so tired this pregnancy. I usually take one nap a day while George is napping. Thank goodness he still naps for 2-4 hours a day.

I’m now 37 weeks pregnant and glad the pregnancy is almost over. I’m due on December 11th. I had different aches and pains than my first pregnancy. Pregnancy definitely takes a lot out of you. It always seems like the last trimester is the longest. You feel as big as a house. You’re so much more uncomfortable because you’re so big. Carrying George hurts now. It’s bearable, but I don’t do it very long. Simple tasks like clearing out the dishwasher tires me out. I’m so forgetful this trimester. I’ve become more klutzy now.. not sure why. I blame it on the huge belly! Bending over to pick things up is painful. My feet have expanded to a 1/2 size bigger, but I think they got a little bigger since my are feeling tight in my shoes now. It’s amazing feeling the kicks and baby’s movements. I know I’ll miss that for sure. I’m a the home stretch now.. only about 2 weeks now unless he decides to show up early. I told him he can’t come until November 25th or later – so, I can enjoy Thanksgiving food.

It’s good to be back. I missed being creative and writing about my life and George.
