However, there is no need for you to worry. Here are six makeup tips that will help you look like pro in up to 10 minutes.
1. Start with Concealer
If you are a mom, I believe that you are sleep deprived after a baby night shift, and that can be seen particularly under the eyes. Those dark circles are freaking me out, however, I found a tool in dealing with them, and that is my new best friend – concealer! It will make your face look brighter and more awake, which is exactly what you need. Apply it with applicator brush, and then dab with your fingers in order for it to melt into your skin more efficiently.
2. Apply Foundation
The next step is applying foundation, however, if you think that it will make you look too cakey, use tinted moisturiser instead. Its formula is much lighter, but it still provides coverage, which is fantastic if you are not a fan of foundation early in the morning. On the other hand, if you do choose to use it, start with areas that need most cover. Apply it with your fingers or a brush and then sweep outwards in order to cover the whole face.
3. Bronze It Up!
Sun-kissed skin is always desirable, and such a look can be easily achieved even though you don’t have much time on your hands. Apply bronzer at the top of your forehead, and then go along your cheeks and across the jawline. Several smooth swipes will contribute to radiant look of your skin, and that is an instant mood booster, we can all agree on it! Less is definitely more when it comes to bronzer, so make sure not to overdo it – you may end up looking too dark.
4. Don’t Forget Blush
Pink cheeks remind us of health, which is why you should never skip blush. This is particularly important when you are exhausted, because a touch of colour will make your skin look more radiant. A cream blush will do wonders for you, and what is even better, it is very easy to apply. Use it on the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards, towards temples. It can be a true game changer, plus the fact that it is amazing even if you are short on time. Does it get better than that? I don’t think so!
5. Mascara Is a Must
Before applying a several coats of mascara, curl your lashes for a better effect. You will see an instant change. You can also apply a neutral shadow to your lids, since it will make your eyes much brighter. Here is an extra tip: use the brightest one on the inner corners – your eyes will look much bigger, and therefore more awake. Of course, don’t forget to apply eye cream under them, before the concealer – it will reduce puffiness and you will be good to go!
6. Lip Gloss Will Save the Day
Choose a neutral peach or pink tone that will incorporate into your natural look perfectly. On the other hand, if you really want to make a statement, opt for orange, pink, or red lipstick. That will bring a more glamorous effect. However, you need that extra shine which will make your day much better, so feel free to apply one coat of lip gloss over it. Such a product can be a real lifesaver, and it gives a beautiful shiny look in no time.
As you can see, there is a way for you to look glamorous and gorgeous, despite the fact that you are short on time. Establishing your makeup routine is the key to success, because that will save you a few more minutes to sip a cup of coffee and read the newspaper. Who says that busy means cheesy?
